NEW YORK — A large Christmas tree in New York City will be removed for a renovation.
The city announced Wednesday that it will replace the tree with a more modern look.
The tree was planted in front of the Old Post Office in December but has been under renovation for the past two months.
It will be moved to the new home of a local company, which plans to add a bar to the front.
The removal will be complete on Dec. 15, with the tree set to be placed in a park in the heart of Manhattan.
